- How to talk to your daughter about her body was floating about my Facebook feed, and whilst it is a little twee for my liking, I appreciate the jist of the article, and how your should emphasise health when your child (girls and boys) is young.
- I made one of these flourless chocolate cakes years ago, following Nigella's recipe, and it was the most amazing thing, when I saw Rosie had shared a recipe for a mint-chocolate one, it made me want to try it all over again. They're so good, hot from the oven with lots of cream.
- I just finished wrapping a bunch of Christmas presents before sitting down to write this, but I really wish it took me 10-seconds for each present...
- There was an amazing post from Becky about the glamourisation of mental health this week, summing up everything I feel about certain 'bloggers' and the way they portray anxiety.
- I'm a sucker for rocks, minerals and crystals in beautiful displays, and I absolutely adored these pictures from Fieldguided.
- All of these films are now on my to-watch list, I love anything rich and pretty and a feast for the eyes.
- I am definitely making these candy-cane brownies for Christmas, I love making peppermint bark at this time of year, and the only way to improve that really is to add brownies, probably.
- This looks like the kind of exhibition I really want to see, I absolutely adored the Turner retrospective at the National Maritime Museum earlier this year, and I think this would be just as good: the Peder Balke exhibit at the National Gallery.
- I really wanted to have a go at making a wreath this year, but I really don't think I'll have the time before Christmas, but how pretty is this one from Attic 24? She also shared this post with some other ideas for wreaths.
- I want all this beautiful stationery, particularly that gorgeous marbled blue book, my heart wants it wants, what can I say..I think this will be a treat for the new year, to blast away any January blues.
- Some insanely beautiful and easy little christmas decorations from Junkaholique, along with some pretty photos of Winchester that make me realise I do live in a beautiful area, really.
