- I thought this post about how to make the most of your iPhone photographs actually had a lot of interesting points, unlike most other articles like that. Recently I've been trying to make my Instagram into a prettier place, and I've been enjoying it a lot.
- You know that feeling when you didn't know that you wanted something, but then you see it and you think yes, that is it? Well this is what I thought when I saw this courgette & fig smoothie. I wasn't (and still aren't) sure that those flavours would go together, but now I'm desperate to try one to see.
- How much do I want to make this glitter counter-top? So much. But I have no-where to make it, really, I don't need it. But I want it... it's glittery!
- This kitchen is the thing of my dreams, and I know that probably makes me sound like a middle-aged woman, but I love it so much. I think it's the dark blue of the cupboards or something, but it's gorgeous.
- My weight-loss streak is still going strong this week, I've been consistently losing weight all month and I'm feeling great about it, so this compilation post by A House in the Hills with loads of 'clean eating' recipes (I do hate that term, though!) is pride of place in my bookmarks this week! I want to try the paprika parsnip fries (I love parsnips), the toasted kale and chickpea salad and the kale, sweet potato and black bean tacos.
- This post about moving to Wordpress by Thoroughly English might only be applicable to other bloggers, but after the #lbloggers chat this week, it seemed very appropriate, and it's something I've been considering doing, so it was a really useful guide.
- I really want to knit this sweater - now we're into August I can't help but think about the upcoming autumn and how I haven't knit nearly as many sweaters as I wanted to this year.
- This Cy Twombly popped up on my dashboard yesterday and it reminded me of how much I loved his art growing up, and thought I'd share it with you guys incase you'd never seen it. I'll take this opportunity to tell you that I've got a tumblr and feel free to follow me there - I might post some things that may be NSFW/18+ though, just as a warning!
- Another sort of blogging-related post, but I absolutely loved this post by Michelle at Daisybutter.com (one of my long-time favourite blogs!) about Haul Culture in the blogging community. I'm going to do a more in-depth post about this later in the month, but I just wanted to share it because it was so spot on to everything I think about the throwaway nature of the community, and how we're so willing to buy things because some pretty girl on Youtube who got sent the product for free tells you it's good..
- I discovered Lingered Upon this week and it has the most beautiful photographs I've seen in a long time on it. Those photos of trees covered in Spanish moss are just what I've been dreaming of, apparently
