• I came across this essay, this week - the original article from 1997 (oh, I'm old) that the film Coyote Ugly was based upon, which I loved when I was a teenager.. It's pretty cool to read - apparently the woman that wrote it, also wrote Eat, Pray, Love, interesting.
• The most insanely beautiful pool, built in an abandoned quarry. I haven't read the full article yet as I just found this whilst Pinteresting this evening, but I would die for that in my back-garden. How sublime does it look? Man, I need some money in my life so I can make amazing things like that happen, haha.
• Another article I found on my lunch-break at work this morning in the Guardian supplement, from the Everyday Sexism founder, Laura Bates about how to navigate the waters of marriage and feminism, something that I was really wanted to read, as a feminist who doesn't really regard the idea of marriage as anything I'm remotely interested in.
• The pattern for this Emerald sweater by Isabell Kraemer is really stunning - but I love lilalu's version of it even more - it's gone in my queue already! I think it's the off-white with that beautiful little red detail that stole my heart.
• The greatartinuglyrooms.tumblr.com URL basically tells you everything you need to know about the blog, but I am in love with this tumblr - so many great paintings in really, really strange places. I just keep scrolling and scrolling and finding so many gems.
• A few absolutely darling little illustrations by Monica Ramos, I really love the ferns and palm-trees with the little tiger in the water, so, so gorgeous. Her whole blog is awesome, but I love the tiger so much, especially in these little close-ups, oh and this photo of her artist tools - so so good.
• Julia Kostreva's blog is full of so many good things, so I thought I would share it with you guys, such beautiful photography, too.
• A little unseasonal, but I want to remember this for the future - how to preserve leaves in wax - a definite must for the autumn.
