- I've been craving toffee apples all week since I saw them at work recently, but now I really want to have a go at making some chocolate apples, a la Rosie. At firework nights as a kid my mum used to make us apple slices and banana covered in chocolate and sprinkles, so this takes me right back..
- I am genuinely interested in trying to become a more ethical consumer, aka, buying less Primark clothes, just because they're cheap - and this is a good post on the subject from Into Mind.
- An interesting alternative to regular chocolate chip cookies from Gillian, I love the idea of a crunchier cookie, so this is definitely one to try with a lot of leftover granola that I've given up on eating.
- My recent attempts of butternut or sweet potato fries has never ended in the crispy, sweet and salty chips that I've dreamt off. They still taste good, but they're never the crispy ones that I want really badly - Foodess blogged about how to make crispy ones, so I'm definitely going to be trying these!
- One of my favourite blogs, Creative Countryside updated us on her life, including an adorable photograph of her new puppy, Bella! So cute..
- I killed two birds with one stone with week by reading Hecticophilia, and that is finding a new blog to read, Design Love Fest, and discovering the amazing desktop wallpapers she posts. I've been after a way to spruce up my laptop, and this is a good way.
- Amazing little bento-box sculptures showcased over on Spoon + Tamago, I love everything they post, including this new factory that has started making amazing salads.
- I really want to have a go at making this chocolate almond butter that Katie blogged about, it looks so freaking good. She made a gluten free one, but the original post is the regular kind of chocolatey nut butter.
- I will click on a good old-fashion apple pie recipe blogpost - every single time. This blog from Rachael is no exception.
- A great post about designing book covers for classics.
- And finally, a blog I really love, Influence Inspiration, and Mathilde's absolutely stunning photographs of a French sunset.
